Ornate Garden Card Ornate Style Bundle with the Ornate Thanks stamp setI was so excited for this Ornate Garden Suite early release from Stampin’ Up!. We get to buy an entire suite that will be in the new annual catalog 2 months before the new catalog is published on June 3rd. Woohoo! I just love the specialty designer series paper. It has a great 70’s look with the daisys and earth tone colors, but it is also lightened up with pinks, too.On to how I made this card…I started with Soft Seafoam card stock for my base and layered Flirty Flamingo over it and then put a piece of this adorable designer series paper with little primulas all over it. I cut out Old Olive card stock with one of the Ornate Layers dies and layered a piece of Blushing Bride card stock cut out with another die that is made to layer on top. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and sprinkled with copper embossing powder and set with the heat tool. The copper embossing powder is retiring (sniff, sniff) so be sure to get it while you can. I also embossed the cute little flowers from the ornate style stamp set and then colored them in with Rococco Rose and Old Olive blends. I hope you enjoy this card and are able to craft soon.
