I got to play with the Snail Dies this weekend and had so much fun! These are part of the Snail Mail Suite on page 55 of the new mini catalog. I love how bright and cheerful this suite is. Especially with our nearly constant rain, this is a great way to spread a little cheer.
I used Blushing Bride card stock cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored it at 4 1/4″. Then I took a piece of 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ Bermuda Bay card stock and cut out the front using one of the Rectangular Stitched Dies. I tied a piece of the blushing bride bakers twine around one edge and then layered that over a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4″ Snail Mail Designer Series Paper. For the bottom left corner I stamped the mushroom image with Momento tuxedo black and colored the images in with blends. This image has a coordinating die, so you don’t need to cut it out by hand. The mushrooms are dies and there is a cute square shape that I tipped on its’ side and then trimmed it flush with the edge of the card. What do you think?
