Sweet Ice Cream Gift Card Holder

This gift card holder is perfect for birthdays

The Sweet Ice Cream bundle is perfect to make this cute gift card holder. It is quick to make and has plenty of room on the back for you to write a message to your lucky recipient. I got the recipe for this from Pat Tecza. You start with a 11″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Old Olive card stock and then score it on the short edge at 3/8″ and 3 7/8″. Then turn the card stock and score at 1 1/4″ and 5 1/2″. Next you will trim away the 3/8″ edges on the long panel. Use your trio punch to round the corners at the bottom and top of your card stock. Now you will need a piece of DSP cut to 4 1/8″ x 3 3/8″ and a different patterned piece 1 1/4″ x 3 1/2″. You will also need a piece of 5 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ of Basic White card stock and round the top corners. Adhere the DSP to the front panel and fold down along the score line and adhere the other piece of DSP to that panel. Add Tear & Tape to the tabs and wrap your long panel behind the DSP panel. Now you are ready to decorate the front as you wish. I used the Stitched So Sweetly dies to create a background for my triple scoop cone. I used the wonderful Ice Cream Corner designer series paper to punch out the ice cream. I wrapped the Blackberry Bliss coordinating ribbon around the card and tied a bow. You just need two glue dots to adhere the gift card.

Hello!  I am a wife and a mother of two wonderful children.  We spend a lot of time with our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, "Tollers".  I started scrap booking when my daughter was born, and then in 2014 I learned about Stampin' Up!.  I fell in love with the quality of the stamps, paper and ink and especially how everything coordinates beautifully.  I became a demonstrator in April of 2016 and I am thoroughly enjoying the chance to bring people together to show them how creative they can be.  I especially enjoy having workshops in my home in Bothell, WA.
