He’s All That Fun Fold Card

Today I am sharing a card that I made for father and I made a similar one for my husband for Father’s Day. This is a great card to use when you want to make a card that is a little different and you can make a small change to it to turn it into a gift card holder.

Measurements:

  1. Old Olive card stock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" for card base.
  2. Misty Moonlight card stock 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" to layer over card base, and 9 3/4" x 4 1/4", scored at 3 1/4" and 6 1/2".  Fold this piece accordion style and burnish with a bone folder.
  3. Very Vanilla card stock 3" x 4" and scrap for sentiment.  Adhere this piece to the Misty Moonlight at bottom portion of the accordion fold.
  4. Let's Go Fishing Designer Series Paper 3" x 4" for middle portion of accordion piece and 4" x 5 1/4" for the card base.

5.  Wild Wheat card stock 3" x 4".  Use the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing folder to give this piece texture.  Then take a piece of Pebbled Path jute trim and unravel the piece and tie it around the card stock in a knot.  Layer over this the sentiment stamped with the He's All That stamp set and cut out with the coordinating dies.  I popped it up with stamping' dimensionals and fussy cut out a fish and also popped it up with dimensionals.

I hope that you give this fun fold card a try! The card below is one that we made at our Spring Retreat in March.

Hello!  I am a wife and a mother of two wonderful children.  We spend a lot of time with our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, "Tollers".  I started scrap booking when my daughter was born, and then in 2014 I learned about Stampin' Up!.  I fell in love with the quality of the stamps, paper and ink and especially how everything coordinates beautifully.  I became a demonstrator in April of 2016 and I am thoroughly enjoying the chance to bring people together to show them how creative they can be.  I especially enjoy having workshops in my home in Bothell, WA.
