Tonight I am sharing a sneak peek from the new annual catalog that goes live on June 4th. For this card I used the gorgeous Bird Ballad suite. The suite includes a tin that holds 12 laser cut cards and envelopes in a lovely tin that is great for a gift. I put a piece of scrap paper behind the lace and used a sponge dauber dipped in Pool Party to color the center. I used the designer series paper in two ways. I cut out a piece using the new stitched nested labels dies and then I also cut out the three birds on a branch. I layered a little of the rose metallic thread under the birds and I also stamped a little strip of Pool Party card stock with a sentiment from the Free as a Bird stamp set.
