Tonight I am sharing a card that we made at the Craft Retreat that I co-hosted with Lisa Worl last Saturday. We had a great time crafting, eating and getting inspired by the displays.
Directions for this card:
Align a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4″ Whisper White card stock on the Stamparatus. Place the stamp of the 4 birds on your piece of card stock in the center. Stamp the image with Momento ink pad.
Color in the image with Stampin’ Blends of your choice. I used Flirty Flamingo for the flowers, Crumb Cake for the branch and Pool Party and Crumb Cake for the birds. Their beak is Smoky Slate (dark). I used Old Olive for the leaves. Remember to use the brush side with a light touch and leave a little white.
Take your 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (DSP) and run it through the Big Shot with the Stitched Nested Label that measures 2 3/8″ on the inside. Adhere the piece of DSP over the piece of card stock with the birds.
Adhere the card front to a piece of 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Pool Party card stock that is scored at 4 1/4″.
Stamp the sentiment on a piece of 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ Crumb Cake card stock in Old Olive.
Finish your card by adhering the sentiment to the card front.
Fold the piece of ribbon in half and adhere together with a glue dot and add one more to adhere to the card front. Finally add the old olive twine to the trinket, tie a bow and adhere that to the card.
Thanks for stopping by!
