Our team has a monthly design team and last month I was a part of the Bird Ballad design team. It was so fun to go back to this wonderful suite. It was definitely my favorite of the 2019-2020 annual catalog. I used Pool Party card stock and then took a piece of Perennial Essence vellum in Old Olive and embossed it with the Scripty 3-D embossing folder. I used the Stitched So Sweetly dies and then cut out the bird from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.
Be sure to purchase the Free As A Bird bundle now to get the 10% discount. Fortunately both items will carry over to next year’s catalog, but without the bundle discount. The scalloped note cards, Bird Ballad designer series paper and Noble Peacock rhinestones are available while they last and on sale, so be sure to get them while they are available. I am really going to miss the DSP, it has been my favorite. For each of the notecards I added a 1/2″ strip at the bottom of the inside of the card, so it peeks out under the scalloped card front.
