Hand Penned Shaker Cards

I thought it might be fun to do a shaker card with the lovely peony image from the Hand Penned Petals stamp set. The peony is colored with the Real Red, Balmy Blue and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. The Designer series paper is from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. You can earn this for free with a $50 purchase. After I adhered the DSP to the card front I used the 2 1/2″ layering circle die to cut out a circle. I placed a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of basic white card stock under the card front and they stamped my sentiment to make sure that it lined up with where I wanted it. I adhered the window sheet behind the circle cut out and then layered over it a foam adhesive strip. Then I added a generous sprinkle of sequins and removed the backing from the foam strip. The final step was to layer the white card stock over the foam strip. Be sure to add Stampin’ Dimensionals all along the edges so that your inner layer is even.
