I used a few sets to make this retirement card featuring the By The Bay designer series paper on this simple fun fold card. I started with an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Night of Navy card stock and scored it at 1 1/4″ and 4 1/4″. For the small fold I added a 1″ x 5 1/4″ piece of the Wood Grain DSP and then I used the Framed Florets dies. First I cut the frame using Sahara Sand card stock and for the center piece I used the center from the next larger oval with the 2 5/8″ opening and cut a piece of Basic White card stock that I stamped with the sand stamp and Sahara Sand ink. I adhered the larger oval to the Sahara Sand frame to give it stability. I cut the sandpiper from the DSP with the coordinating die. I also used the Seaside Bay dies for the Garden Green and Mint Macaron grass pieces. The retirement sentiment comes from the Paradise Palms stamp set. The insert is 4″ x 5 1/4″ and stamped with Petal Pink ink. The panel with the mussels and the hidden inner panel are 5 1/4″ x 2 3/4″.
