Fruit Stand Thank You Cards

I always am in need of a lot of Thank You cards. How about you? I like to use the Fruit Stand Designer Series paper because it is so cheerful. I think we need a bright card when it is still grey outside. This card is fast to make, but really cute, too. tams# 12078 Product List Cucumber Crush 8-1/2″… Read More

I was so excited to receive my Moon Baby stamp set in the mail last week. Hey Chick!

Hello!  I finally took the chance to play with the Hey, Chick stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalog this week. After having a really long day it was so relaxing to use my watercolor pencils to color in these chickens. Dragonfly Dreams Gift Bag

I think the dragonfly makes a great decoration for the tall gift bag using the gift bag punch board. I stamped the background of the dragonfly in Pear Pizzazz and then stamped the detailed dragonfly in Versamark and then embossed it with the gold emboss powder.  I used a 10″ x 12″ piece of designer series paper. I love the… Read More

Copper Dragonfly

I thought it would be fun to use the copper emboss powder with the dragonfly cut out of the copper foil sheets. I used the Falling In Love Designer Series paper for a contrast to the Soft Sky card stock.  I cut a dragonfly out of vellum and put that behind the intricate die cut dragonfly.  I hope you like… Read More

Special Reason and Dragonfly Dreams

I think the Special Reason set with the lovely mum is perfect for Mother’s Day. I wanted to make a card with warm colors and to try out the watercolor technique of putting ink on your acrylic block and then “stamping” it on your watercolor paper. I did that with a couple of drops of the crushed curry ink refill… Read More

So In Love Anniversary Card

I started out wanting to do something with the gorgeous Delicate Details stamp set, which I haven’t used yet.  I stamped it on Crumb Cake and then embossed it with the copper emboss powder. Then I used one of my favorite papers from the Falling In Love Designer Series paper. I used the So Detailed Thinlits Dies and cut out… Read More

The Bee

I absolutely love this bee from the Dragonfly Dreams set. I couldn’t wait to use it with the Hexagons Embossing Folder. This card is so simple, but I think it really focuses on how lovely the bee is. tams# 11577 Product List Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder [143231] $9.00 Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Pad [140931] $7.00 Dragonfly Dreams Photopolymer… Read More

Hello!  I am a wife and a mother of two wonderful children.  We spend a lot of time with our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, "Tollers".  I started scrap booking when my daughter was born, and then in 2014 I learned about Stampin' Up!.  I fell in love with the quality of the stamps, paper and ink and especially how everything coordinates beautifully.  I became a demonstrator in April of 2016 and I am thoroughly enjoying the chance to bring people together to show them how creative they can be.  I especially enjoy having workshops in my home in Bothell, WA.
