My youngest niece’s favorite color is lavender and she loves all things floral so I made her a graduation card that is unique for her. I am so proud of her. I hope that she likes it! I started with a base of Pale Papaya, which is one of the new in-colors. I layered over it a piece of Hand Penned designer series paper that I cut with the new Scalloped Contours Dies. Next I layered a piece of vellum card stock. Before I adhered the vellum I wrapped a piece of the Fresh Freesia open weave ribbon around it and tied a bow. I love, love, love this ribbon. It is the perfect width at 3/8″ and it is so easy to make pretty bows with it. And now back to the card, the next layer starts with a piece of the Fresh Freesia card stock. I used my Stamparatus to stamp the Best Chapter sentiment in Tuxedo Black Momento ink and then stamped the banner in Gorgeous Grape. Isn’t it a cute sentiment for a graduate? This set is perfect for lots of occasions since there is a sentiment for weddings, new parents, housewarming, and retirement.
I hope that you enjoy my card. Thanks for stopping by!
