I had so much fun making my mom a spanner card for her special birthday. This was my first try at them and it was really fun. I used the tutorial the Lisa Curcio shared. Be sure to check it out if you want to try one yourself. It is a great way to add layers to your card. I am definitely going to add that to my list of fancy fold cards. It was a great way to show off the beautiful Pansy Petals designer series paper as I used different patterns on the various sections and layers of the card. This my first time using the detailed textured pansy dies. I really like them. I would recommend using the adhesive sheets behind the smaller die cuts so you don’t have fuss with liquid glue.
