Art Gallery Card in a Box

When I was planning out a birthday card for my mom, I knew it needed to have flowers, the more the better, and it should be a fancy fold, right? I used a few different sets of dies, too. I love the script of the Well Written dies and they really pop when you layer them over the foam adhesive… Read More

Positive Thoughts Double Easel Fold Card

Today I am sharing a fancy fold card that I made for my daughter’s birthday. She likes green and rich colors, but not pink and she was drawn to the butterflies. I used Shaded Spruce for my card base and added a layer of Soft Seafoam and one of the pretty patterns from the Forever Greenery designer series paper. I… Read More

Blossoms In Bloom

Blossoms In Bloom

When I was looking at the items that we got to purchase for pre-order, I told myself I didn’t need another floral bundle….but this one is so gorgeous that I couldn’t pass it up. I experimented with the using the vellum for the top layer over the Purple Posy, but I liked the contrast better with the vellum under the… Read More

Animal Expedition accordion birthday card

Animal Expedition accordion birthday card

I made this birthday card for my son. This was my first try at an accordion card. It was super easy! The card front is 5″ x 5″ and the designer series paper was cut at 4″ 7/8″ x 4″ 7/8″. I cut one piece of card stock 5″ x 10″ and a second at 5″ x 11″. I used… Read More

Happy Birthday Gorgeous Card

Happy Birthday Gorgeous Card

I made this card for my daughter’s best friend. Her favorite color is pink, so I used a lot of Powder Pink. To balance the pink I also used Blueberry Bushel, one of the new 2018-2020 in colors. I love how the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set coordinates with the Balloon Bouquet punch. This is the first card I have… Read More

Have you tried the new Big Shot Embossing Mats? I love that you can use your thinlits dies to emboss your paper also! It’s like getting twice the use out of them. Hello!  I am a wife and a mother of two wonderful children.  My daughter is active with her 4-H dog group and my son is enjoying his robotic club.  We spend a lot of time with our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, "Tollers".  I started scrap booking when my daughter was born, and then in 2014 I learned about Stampin' Up!.  I fell in love with the quality of the stamps, paper and ink and especially how everything coordinates beautifully.  I became a demonstrator in April of 2016 and I am thoroughly enjoying the chance to bring people together to show them how creative they can be.  I especially enjoy having workshops in my home in Bothell, WA.
