Today I am sharing one of the cards we made yesterday at my birthday themed class. This one is my favorite of the 3 we made. We started with the thick basic white card stock and stamped the typed image from the Quiet Meadow stamp set with Sahara Sand ink. Next we adhered a piece of the Heart & Home Designer Series paper cut to 5 1/2 x 1 1/2″ to the card base. For the flowers we used the coordinating Meadow Dies and cut the flowers from the Fluid 100 watercolor paper. We colored the flowers after they were cut, which made it super easy! We used the water painters to pick up a bit of Pear Pizzazz, Calypso Coral and the new Orchid Oasis ink using the refill bottles. You can also squish the lid of the ink pad to pick up some ink onto your brush. The birthday sentiment is from the Pansy Patch stamp set stamped in Orchid Oasis ink and cut with a lovely label die that is included in the Meadow dies.
