Inking Idaho on the Road

Wow!  What a fun-filled weekend I got to have with my mom in Boise.  We flew in on Friday so we could join the event.  There was stamping on Friday evening and on Saturday we started up at 9:00 and went until 4:00.  There were several demonstrations on Saturday morning.  We had 3 super talented ladies from Inking Idaho… Read More

Beetle & Bug Birthday

I was so excited when my son told me he liked the Beetle & Bug stamp set. I thought it would make a fun party bag for his upcoming birthday. I used the Emerald Envy card stock and taffeta ribbon. I also used a stamp and thinlet from the Party Animal Suite.  I love that sentiment, “Open me already”.  The… Read More

Basket Bunch

I wanted to use the adorable Basket Bunch for a Thinking of You card.  I don’t know about you, but I am ready for Spring.  While I know I will use this set for Easter, the basket with daffodils sends a cheerful message for a lot more than Easter.  I used the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper for my background…. Fruit Stand Thank You Cards

I always am in need of a lot of Thank You cards. How about you? I like to use the Fruit Stand Designer Series paper because it is so cheerful. I think we need a bright card when it is still grey outside. This card is fast to make, but really cute, too. tams# 12078 Product List Cucumber Crush 8-1/2″… Read More

I was so excited to receive my Moon Baby stamp set in the mail last week. Hey Chick!

Hello!  I finally took the chance to play with the Hey, Chick stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalog this week. After having a really long day it was so relaxing to use my watercolor pencils to color in these chickens. I used the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate to get the look of chicken wire and my favorite embossing folder, the… Read More

Dragonfly Dreams Gift Bag

I think the dragonfly makes a great decoration for the tall gift bag using the gift bag punch board. I stamped the background of the dragonfly in Pear Pizzazz and then stamped the detailed dragonfly in Versamark and then embossed it with the gold emboss powder.  I used a 10″ x 12″ piece of designer series paper. I love the… Read More

Copper Dragonfly

I thought it would be fun to use the copper emboss powder with the dragonfly cut out of the copper foil sheets. I used the Falling In Love Designer Series paper for a contrast to the Soft Sky card stock.  I cut a dragonfly out of vellum and put that behind the intricate die cut dragonfly.  I hope you like… Read More

Special Reason and Dragonfly Dreams

I think the Special Reason set with the lovely mum is perfect for Mother’s Day. I wanted to make a card with warm colors and to try out the watercolor technique of putting ink on your acrylic block and then “stamping” it on your watercolor paper. I did that with a couple of drops of the crushed curry ink refill… Read More

Fiesta Tasty Trucks

I wanted to make a fast and easy card with the adorable Tasty Trucks set. I thought it would be fun to coordinate with the Festive Birthday Designer Series paper. This is a great way to be able to have a stack of Thank You or thinking of you cards done in a short time. tams# 11819 Product List Tempting… Read More

Hello!  I am a wife and a mother of two wonderful children.  We spend a lot of time with our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, "Tollers".  I started scrap booking when my daughter was born, and then in 2014 I learned about Stampin' Up!.  I fell in love with the quality of the stamps, paper and ink and especially how everything coordinates beautifully.  I became a demonstrator in April of 2016 and I am thoroughly enjoying the chance to bring people together to show them how creative they can be.  I especially enjoy having workshops in my home in Bothell, WA.
