Today I am sharing a fancy fold card that I made for my daughter’s birthday. She likes green and rich colors, but not pink and she was drawn to the butterflies. I used Shaded Spruce for my card base and added a layer of Soft Seafoam and one of the pretty patterns from the Forever Greenery designer series paper. I used the Positive Thoughts stamp set and the coordinating Nature’s Thoughts dies. These dies are wonderful and have an added bonus of a lovely rectangular die that has pretty detailing all around the edge. It is hard to tell from this card since I cut out a piece of vellum card stock with it, but you should check it out! Both the stamp and coordinating dies are in the annual catalog. I used the foam adhesive to layer under the “birthday” from the Well Written dies to pop it up a bit. I wasn’t sure if this card was over the top, but she loved it!
